- BA, Sociology, English, cum laude Gonzaga University
A Washington native, Annalisa grew up on a cattle ranch in Kettle Falls before moving to Spokane to earn her BA in Sociology and English at Gonzaga University. As her fields of study might suggest, Annalisa is a people-person and a strong communicator, enabling her to connect on an innate level with our clients — especially those in rural communities. Annalisa enjoys using her passion for projects and creative writing talents to assist our clients with their funding needs and strives to make their experience positive and impactful. Annalisa’s attention to detail, expertise, and diligence has resulted in over $68.5 million dollars procured in grant and loan funding in the past 7 years for nonprofit and municipal clients. In addition to her background in grant writing, Annalisa has a diverse skill set that compliments the culture here at T-O. Throughout her professional life, she has acquired experience in small business ownership, event development and management, marketing, office management, and has spent time fundraising and volunteering for the nonprofits closest to her heart (SheJumps and Evergreen East Mountain Bike Alliance). Annalisa draws inspiration for her grant writing with lots of outdoor play, and savors her time in the mountains to hike, backpack, ski (alpine and backcountry), mountain bike, and navigate nearby lakes and rivers on her SUP.
