Bruce is a born and raised Idahoan with over 38 years of diverse experience in the planning, design, and construction on Federal Aid projects for the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) and local agencies. Bruce started his career in 1984 working for ITD District 5 in Pocatello as a construction inspector through Project Inspector on roadway and bridge projects. In 1997, he transferred to District 3 in Boise where he served as Project Coordinator for several ITD projects including the realignment of SH-55 in Eagle, Widening of Eagle Road from two lanes to five lanes. Following his time with District 3, Bruce managed the consultant design and served as a construction representative for numerous GARVEE projects for Connecting Idaho Partners (CIP) consisting of interstate improvements from the Franklin Interchange in Nampa to Eisenman Road and the extension of State Highway 16 in Ada County.
Currently, Bruce is working as a Project Manager at T-O Engineers managing construction design projects and serving as engineer of record representative. This experience gives Bruce a well-rounded perspective for the design and construction of projects he works on. In what spare time he has, Bruce enjoys spending time with his family at their cabin in Donnelly, Idaho as well as snowmobiling and working on/gazing at classic and muscle cars.
