From a young age, Dusty spent time around construction, growing to love the sights and sounds of big, yellow equipment building really big things. That set him on a course to a career in engineering and constructing various infrastructure projects in the Mountain West. This career has been quite rewarding from the standpoint that each day is a new challenge but with one common theme: building the needs of the communities in which we live and work. Dusty’s background includes design and project management in geotechnical, municipal, land development, transportation, airports, and just about anything in between. He prides himself in understanding a client’s true expectations and focuses on delivering based on how the client defines “value”. Dusty enjoys the creative nature of the projects we do and works to instill that approach in up-and-coming engineers. He has always subscribed to the work hard, play hard mentality and strives to achieve and be part of a fun workplace for everyone. Dusty enjoys the opportunities that our region affords us in outdoor recreation. His weekends are rarely at home, but rather somewhere in the mountains hunting, backpacking, snowboarding, or snowmobiling.
