- BS, Civil Engineering - Carroll College
Born and raised in southern Idaho, J.D. developed a strong passion for engineering at a young age through a combination of an interest in math and creating whatever he could out of Lincoln Logs and Legos. That passion grew over the course of several summers while interning in a variety of capacities. During his high school years, he worked on a variety of projects primarily doing soils and materials testing. After graduating from Carroll College in Helena, Montana in 2019 with a degree in Civil Engineering, J.D. moved back home and was hired onto the land development team at T-O. J.D. is gaining a lot of valuable experience working through the land development process, including site and utility design, platting, construction drawings and city/agency requirements.
When not at work, J.D. enjoys spending time with his family and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities Idaho has to offer, including hunting, fishing, boating, and camping. He is also an avid sports fan and enjoys playing basketball and racquetball when he is not outside or watching some sort of sporting event.
