Jessie graduated from Colorado School of Mines in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering and a minor in Engineering for Community Development. She hopes to one day utilize her minor in other countries, working with international organizations and local communities to solve environmental challenges. Jessie obtained her Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering the following year in 2020. Various courses exposed Jessie to many sectors of the Environmental and Civil industry, where her interests fell in hydrology, site remediation, and hydraulics. As an undergraduate, Jessie had an Environmental Health and Safety Internship at an oil and gas company in Northern Colorado, working on hazard communication and reclamation projects. At T-O Engineers, Jessie is in the hydraulics department at the Meridian office and enjoys how each week has a new challenge to be solved (or modeled!). She has gained experience in hydraulic modeling software--such as HEC-RAS, SMS (SRH-2D), HY-8, and Hydraulic Toolbox—as well as ArcMap and Civil 3D. Jessie looks forward to continually learning more about the hydraulic field! When not at work, Jessie enjoys hiking and exploring the Treasure Valley!
