- MS, BS, Civil and Environmental Engineering - University of Nevada
Lauren was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. As a little kid, she preferred to play with Legos and other building materials instead of any other toy. She continued to build things, transitioning from Legos to basic drafting tools, to professional-grade architecture implements and CADD software programs. Originally wanting to be either an aeronautical engineer or architect, she preferred designing infrastructure systems, rather than streamlined airplanes and ritzy skyscrapers. With her career path chosen, she attended the University of Nevada, Reno, where she received her B.S. and later M.S. in Civil Engineering. She started working at the Nevada Department of Transportation in 2018 in the Road Design Division, before deciding to make a move to the private sector at T-O.
