Tyler is an Idaho native who decided after high school to make the move out to Bozeman, MT where he attended Montana State University to study Civil Engineering. He found himself working in a pizza kitchen at Bridger Brewing where he would ultimately find some of his lifelong friends and discover the world of Water Resources engineering. Throughout his Bachelor of Science degree, Tyler found a passion for people, creativity, and Water Resources engineering, of all things. An owner of the brewery also happened to own a small consulting firm that specialized in stream and habitat restoration, and Tyler was provided a two-year introduction into the consulting world. From there, he joined a larger firm called RESPEC where he had the opportunity to work on large-scale projects in Montana including a 65-mile, new FEMA flood study for the Sun River near Great Falls, MT and a multitude of projects and investigations for road, bridge, and river design and restoration throughout the northeast corner of Yellowstone National Park. After almost nine years in Bozeman, MT and marrying his best friend in the Fall of 2020, Tyler, his wife Kylee, and their first child due June 2022, decided to make the move back to Nampa, ID to be closer to family and friends and for a new opportunity with T-O Engineers. Outside of engineering, Tyler shares a passion for backpacking, rock climbing, fly fishing, and floating with Kylee and can’t wait to see what Idaho has to offer with these hobbies. He also has a passion for music and corny jokes, so if anyone is ever in need of some recommendations or a cheesy joke, don’t be afraid to give him a shout!
