Ben Sommer, PE joins T-O as an Aviation Project Manager in the Spokane, WA office. He will assist in development of T-O Engineers’ Washington aviation and municipal practice. Ben has spent most of his professional career in the greater Seattle area, and over the past 13 years has been involved in projects ranging from industrial to aviation.
The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) selected Elite Edge Engineers and T-O Engineers to work on the Osage Street Bridge # 1451 and the 46th Street Bridge #1452 in Garden City, Idaho.
The project requested by Garden City will accommodate bike and pedestrian facilities and will replace the two existing concrete bridges with pre-cast concrete box culverts over the Thurman Mill Canal. Elite Edge will design the structural components and T-O will handle the hydraulic and drainage analysis and all civil design.
T-O Engineers donated $12,000 to the University of Idaho Civil Engineering Department's lounge remodel. T-O is happy to be a part of helping to inspire future engineers. Go Vandals!
T-O Engineers has welcomed three new team members to our Meridian Office.
Johnny Zacarias, EI will be working with the Land Development Group in the Meridian Office. Johnny graduated from the University of Idaho in 2015 and has been working in Las Vegas until moving to Idaho to work at T-O. Johnny brings with him Geotechnical Field observation experience he gained while working in Las Vegas and is looking forward to gaining design experience. Johnny is originally from outside of Glenns Ferry, Idaho and is excited to be back in Idaho.
HDR and T-O Engineers were awarded the I84-B, Hammett Business Loop and UPRR Bridge project in Hammett, Idaho. HDR is the Prime Consultant; however, T-O will be responsible for approximately 40% of the work assigned by ITD including storm water drainage design, the SWPPP, utilities, striping, traffic control plan and very minor supplemental survey including right-of-way and mapping/structure measurements. This project is just under 3.5 miles in length and includes replacement of the UPRR Bridge.
T-O Engineers was selected for the Slaughter House Bridge project. The LHTAC and Benewah County sponsored project is located in the St. Joe River floodplain about 10 miles east of St. Maries, Idaho. This will be a joint office effort, with floodplain research, surveying, and mapping. Joining us on the team are American Geotechnics, Bionomics, and WHPacific.
