- PE in Wyoming
- BS, Civil Engineering, Colorado State University
As a child, Carson was building cities with dirt, tree bark, and rocks, forts with rotating turrets, and multi-story tree houses. That passion for building things and being around large equipment was focused into the engineering field and the pursuit of a college degree. He only briefly left Wyoming to attend Colorado State University to pursue engineering and his other passion as a thrower in Track and Field Athletics. During those summers he returned to Wyoming to intern as a Resident Project Representative (RPR) and Materials Tester, with the opportunity to travel the state working on many projects including wind farms, uranium mines, and large subdivisions. After graduation, “home” was calling, and that has now turned into half a decade in Cody, developing skills as a professional engineer working mostly in aviation engineering. Every site visit and RPR stint around the state, he travels with his camera in the passenger seat. Cody is a perfect home base for Carson to explore the scenic parts of the state, be involved in his church and community, and coach track at the high school, all when he isn’t living his childhood dreams of designing the next big project to build or being 10’ from a big ol earth scraper or motorgrader.
