Charlie Smith, PE

Originally from New Hampshire, Charlie’s extensive travels across the US and around the world led him to settle in Boise.  Growing up playing in a large sandbox with Tonka trucks, it was only fitting that he become a Civil Engineer.  Charlie has a broad range of experience ranging from site civil design to aviation, municipal utilities, and industrial wastewater treatment. Charlie’s experience has helped move a broad range of projects from concept, through design, to construction, and eventually to a successful completion for both municipal and private clients. Projects have included design of municipal wastewater treatment facilities and pump stations, operations of both municipal and industrial wastewater treatment facilities, industrial wastewater treatment plant optimization, design of municipal utilities, and environmental permitting for large industrial clients. His experience also includes full time construction oversight for large site-civil projects ranging from rehabilitation of existing infrastructure to wastewater treatment facility construction to airport runway construction. In his free time, Charlie is always on the move - be it by skis, motorcycle, raft, mountain bike, or on foot.
