Dave Mitchell, PE

Dave has loved aviation for as long as he can remember, dating back to his childhood daydreams.  While a career as a fighter pilot didn’t quite work out, the next best thing did; a career working to make it possible for others to fly and get where they need to be by making airfields and the airport system better.  This started with four years in the Air Force after he graduated from the University of Southern California (Fight on!).  Following his service, he joined T-O in 1998, where his love for airports lives on.  He currently leads our airport group and loves the challenge and privilege of leading this part of our company.  Dave actively manages projects and takes great pride in helping his clients develop a vision for their airport and then making that vision reality.  When he’s not at the office or at an airport watching airplanes, he’s probably with his family, enjoying the Boise area and Idaho.  Camping, running, biking, golf, and photography all make the list of things Dave wishes he had more time to do.
