- BS, Civil Engineering, Gonzaga University
- MS, Structural Engineering and Geomechanics, Stanford University
Elizabeth grew up around construction. Her father sold heavy machinery and construction equipment, and she started working for a local construction company in high school. She attended Gonzaga University and received a BS in Civil Engineering (Go Zags!), continuing to work summers in construction. She went on to get an MS in Structural Engineering from Stanford. She has always been fascinated by the built environment and enjoys watching new projects be built from the ground up. After school, she worked in construction management building high rise condos, high schools, and office towers around the Seattle area. After deciding to relocate out of Washington with her family, Elizabeth was excited for an opportunity to put her engineering education to use. Her years of experience in the construction world have helped her solve technical problems while keeping practicality and logistics in mind. She spends most of her free time keeping up with a house full of energetic boys – including her husband, toddler, and two dogs.
