- BS, Civil Engineering, University of Idaho
Justin spent the first 2 years out of high school working as an assembler at a modern sports rifle manufacturer and the following 3 years as a teller at a credit union. After realizing that neither of these jobs fulfilled his desire to be creative or challenged at work, he decided to go back to school for Engineering at the University of Idaho. He began his college career with a summer internship with the Idaho Transportation Department District 2 working under the Materials and Traffic Engineers. After that first summer, he realized he really enjoyed the constant learning and new challenges that comes with Civil Engineering. After 5 summers with ITD and graduating from U of I, he decided to move to the Treasure Valley where the opportunities are essentially endless for a Civil Engineer. His original plan was to continue working for ITD at the District 3 office. But after exploring other options and hearing experiences from friends in the field he decided to make a transition to Land Development.
